Painting collab while in the countryside for Chuseok
Check out my first video doing this here.
We headed back to the countryside for Chuseok, an important Korean holiday, last weekend. I wanted to give Yul the chance to do some painting outside while the weather is nice. We gave him 2 canvases so he would have one just for him, and there was one that I would then paint on. Yul does a lot of painting that we don’t show, so he still has lots of paintings that I don’t meddle with!
For this painting I left most of Yul’s artwork how it was and instead focused on painting something detailed in the center. I wanted to combine his abstract painting with something very precise and detailed.
This time I had a time limit because we were visiting Hugh’s parents’ place, and because it was a family holiday. So I mostly painting while Yul was having a nap. I’ve really liked getting back into painting and being able to use Yul’s creativity in my own work. More videos and paintings coming soon!
