Does the Gwishin (ghost) remember where she was buried?
In Korea there is a different feeling about spirits of ancestors and actual ghosts. Respects are paid to ancestors on appropriate days and people feel like they can say some words to deceased family members and it’s comforting to think they might be able to hear you. But a ghost can be around anytime and is frightening especially gwishins, which are unhappy female ghosts who died before they were married. I try to show a different side of them though.

I previously didn’t have it because only the Korean language webtoons are available in Korea, while Line Webtoon is the English international one, but I got the app while in Australia. It’s so good! If you get sick of reading mindless Buzzfeed articles or dumb stuff on Facebook, make sure you get the Webtoons app and read some of the awesome comics on there. I’ve been enjoying some of the longer drama webtoons on there like ‘Bastard’ and ‘Winter Woods’. The app will also let you know when new episodes of your favourite webtoons are up too.

Hugh was scared of this more unusual ghost when he was young. I think a few Asian cultures have variations of this type of ghost in their folklore. Have you heard of it before?

New Nicholalala episode up on Line Webtoon!
For those that don’t know: I created a new comic series and am now a featured artist on Line Webtoon. Webtoons are hugely popular in Korea and Line Webtoon is the English site for the international market. As you can see, the format is a bit different to other web comics and is really made to suit mobile devices (you can download the app), but also viewable in a browser too. I won’t be posting the webtoons on my blog, instead they will be on Line Webtoon. So make sure you head over there to check them out.
