Jokbal is something that sounds weird if you aren’t used to eating all sorts of animal parts, but it can be pretty delicious. This particular restaurant, Jokbal Gwishin in Mapo is amazing. We took Joel there when he was in Korea because he hadn’t had spicy jokbal before.

Hugh and Joel try out VR in Hongdae in Seoul. It’s about 6,000 won for 20 minutes if you are looking to have the pants scared off you.
Have you tried something like this?
We’ve mentioned before that Hugh is a social butterfly and has many friends. He recently vlogged a night out and it gives a glimpse into the dynamic Hongdae night life. This was a Monday night!
I wasn’t feeling that well so I stayed home… we have Netflix now! Anyway in this video you can see the Korean style night life of moving from place to place all night. Restaurants, bars, street food etc.
In this Seoul Life video we eat some amazing watermelon cold noodles, Hugh shows some of his work day, and we catch up with Joel, who is back in Korea briefly.
I feel like what we chose wasn’t that weird? Or maybe I’m just used to weird things now. I really wanted to try this burger that has mac and cheese pasta in it, but it wasn’t there that time. I think Joel is less used to Korean convenience food though. Though it has to be better than what he ate in this video.
