He usually makes me try to translate it first and sometimes I can, but sometimes GD writes a lot of slang and I have no idea.
Actually, almost anything I want him to translate online he makes me read out loud first. Sometimes I read the Korean extra badly so he’ll just get annoyed and check it sooner.
Just one of the many stupid conversations we have. It was also 4am here (2am in Korea) so his conclusion that GD was sleeping was hardly surprising.

If you are a new reader to my blog, or don’t know anything about Kpop: G-Dragon (or GD) is a very famous, very talented Kpop star and I’m a huge fan.
GD has the same family name as us, which is why my husband tries to say that he is the from the same family. Yes technically we can check to see how we are related but we are probably only very distantly related. In Korea there aren’t many family names so it is very common to know many other people with the same family name as you.
Korean Genealogy is very interesting and it’s amazing to me that my husband’s family have the family register dating back to the 15th century but in my family, my grandfather who likes to research family history, struggles to find records and dates from just 200 years ago.
A very quick comic today sorry. I was quite sick last night and was just going to use a backup comic today but thought I’d just draw what happened this morning instead.
My husband’s sister and her boyfriend arrived in Australia this morning. They gave me so many presents like clothes and makeup and A LOT of dried seaweed! But they also gave me a bunch of stuff for giveaways. Things like socks, pencil cases, mini notepads, calenders. My husband was unimpressed with the GD ones haha. These days I can’t even tell if he is joking or actually really annoyed and jealous of GD.
Anyway, the GD stuff isn’t for me! So there should be some nice giveaways coming up soon. Stay tuned.

Tumblr really sucks you in. I avoided it for a while until some fans started suggesting it, so I figured, why not? At first I mostly just followed some art and fashion blogs, but then I started following some BigBang and GD ones, so pretty soon my dashboard was just all photos and gifs of BigBang, and especially GD. Whoops. So when my husband was standing behind me and watching I couldn’t even redeem myself with something more…. mature, the only thing that came up that wasn’t BigBang was a Disney thing…..
My husband has no idea about Tumblr so when he saw me scrolling through my dashboard he was annoyed at the amount of BigBang. BUT, for all his complaints, Bigbang is actually one of his favourite Kpop groups, don’t let his grumpy face fool you.
The My Korean Husband Tumblr has most of the comics from the main blog but sometimes also has some extra drawings or quotes.
