Hiding

Hiding

Sometimes I come downstairs and find myself part of a game of hide and seek without realising it. Actually my husband just hears me coming down the stairs and tries to hide for fun but the severe lack of furniture hinders that.

That’s not to say that he is bad at hide and seek though, he is pretty awesome at it. Last Christmas when we were at the holiday house he hid on the balcony and then when people checked the balcony he hung off it just holding onto the ledge with his hands, dangling there until the seeker went back inside.

Why I’m Tired

Why I'm Tired

And that’s why there isn’t a proper comic. I have to work on other stuff today and because I slept later than usual I didn’t have time to make a comic.

It is always a shock to hear loud messages blasted all through the village, especially at 5am. I can’t imagine that happening in Australia because I think Australia has much stricter noise rules.

Seriously…. 5am. I’m assuming the person went and picked up their delivery of fish finally.

I did hear my mother-in-law wake up at that time and didn’t seem worried so I assumed everything was fine and it wasn’t a message saying we were all going to die.

Poking

Poking

Okay, if you have a Korean partner you have probably experienced this. It’s a silly thing that Koreans start doing as children and something that many adults continue to do, much to the annoyance of others. The hands are placed in a certain way… and the butt is the target. There is a reason that one of the first things I learnt how to say in Korean was “똥꼬 안돼!”

Ask Korean Guys 15

This was filmed while in Australia. We are almost at the end of season 1 of Ask Korean Guys!

But since Han is now in Korea for a few weeks, we will be filming season 2!

Make sure you ask your questions now!

Accents

Accents

Mr Gwon is judging your accents.

But don’t worry, he has trouble differentiating between British and American accents sometimes so he has no authority on the subject.

Usually Koreans are usually only familiar with the standard American accent that is on TV shows and movies so they can be surprised when they hear an accent different to that. It’s also the same with British accents, there are many they have never heard before. YouTube videos showcase a much bigger range of real accents because it’s more likely to be real people talking.
