Mr Gwon speaks Tagalog

So like a lot of other Koreans, Mr Gwon went to The Philippines to learn English. He really enjoyed it there and tried to learn some Tagalog as well. And don’t worry, I know everything he got up to in The Philippines and it was nothing too bad, even though it was in his free and single days. We’d love to visit together some day.

One Direction

One Direction

Those that follow us on Facebook might have noticed a few photos of him with One Direction cardboard cut outs. There have been some around for promoting concerts and their movie and he always wants a photo with them.

I think he is a bit hypocritical. He can be negative about Kpop groups that are marketed at teenagers and easily dismisses them, but he enjoys One Direction! Not a big fan or anything, but likes some songs and we’ll sing them at noraebang (karaoke).

I think it was a One Direction money box or something.

His Keys

His Keys

He has a terrible track record for losing or forgetting things. I wasn’t that surprised that he did that, but it meant I was on the phone trying to work it out when I was supposed to be eating at the dinner for my father’s 60th birthday!

We share the apartment with another couple but they are only there half the time and weren’t likely to be there for a few days. Also my husband had to rush off to work and couldn’t do much about it. Luckily for him our flatmate was in the area so after a few phone calls some keys were taken to him at work.

So of course I still ask him this when we leave the apartment.
